Mickey Slater

Director of Business Development, Platform Strategy

Born, raised, and educated on the east coast but for the last eight years Mickey has called Portland home. And named after baseball great Mickey Mantle, he still has dreams of returning east and playing center field for the Yankees.

Not waiting idle for that call Mickey has been busy while here in town. Working for the Sierra Club doing door to door sales he impressed his boss who gave him a promotion and told him of his ‘great potential’ and would ‘go far’, years later he would work for Razorfish and make good on that advice. During his 4 and 2/3rd years with Razorfish he has helped brands such as Coors, Microsoft, BestBuy, NWA, and Levis, embrace digital both how it relates to their customers as well as their own culture.

Of all the titles that Mickey has been given over the years; developer, experience designer, account planner, social media guy, digital strategist, the one that he has enjoyed most was ‘Digital Wildcard’, and yes he has been introduced to clients as such.

In his spare time, you can find him working on his bicycles, he has 4 of them, or organizing his sneaker collections, he has 32 pairs of them, or purchasing another domain name for his next great idea, he has more of them then he would like to admit.

Clients that Mickey has worked with over the years.
Coors Banquet, Coors Light, Killians, BlueMoon, Keystone, Microsoft Office for Mac, Microsoft KIN, Best Buy, NWA, Levis
